Amb. Al-Bedaiwi receives Best Amb. Award in S. Korea

SEOUL, Nov 25 (KUNA) -- Kuwaiti Ambassador to South Korea Jassim Al-Bedaiwi was honored with the "2015 Best Ambassador Award" for his efforts in developing ties between the two countries by NDNnews and SeoulCity Magazine on Wednesday.
In a ceremony held at the Korean National Assembly for the award, President of NDNnews and SeoulCity Magazine Shin Hyun-doo noted that Al-Bedaiwi was chosen for his prominent work in developing diplomatic cooperation and organizing numerous high-level meetings between the two countries, mainly the recent visit of President Park Geun-hye to Kuwait last March.
Hyun-doo also added that Al-Bedaiwi has engaged in many activities to get closer to the Korean people by holding many lectures to increase awareness on the importance of the Kuwaiti-Korean relationship.
On his part, Al-Bediawi told KUNA he was proud to be chosen as the best ambassador for 2015, noting the efforts of Kuwait Embassy to develop ties with South Korea on all levels.
Ambassador Al-Bedaiwi, who is the first kuwaiti to receive this award since it was launched four years ago, has previously been awarded with the 2014 excellence certificate by the Asia Society in recognition of his work in supporting the society and bilateral ties between the two countries.(end) anj.ag
