Kuwaiti Students Union due to begin 32nd conf. in San Diego

SAN DIEGO, Nov 25 (KUNA) -- The 32nd conference for the US Branch of National Union of Kuwaiti Students (NUKS) is due to begin here Wednesday with participation of Minister of Education and Minister of Higher Education Dr. Bader Al-Issa.
NUKS Secretary Saud Abul-Hassan said the conference will include several activities focusing on issues connected with political, economic, and social development in Kuwait.
He noted that the conference will include a lecture under the title "my dream presentation" which will be delivered by graduated students.
Students will be allowed to share their aspirations with government figures attending the conference, said Abul-Hassan, noting that students were eager to show their visions regarding Kuwait's development within all domains.
Other activities will include symposiums regarding the current developments in Kuwait, said the NUKS secretary who thanked the students and Kuwaiti officials for their contributions to the event.
US Ambassador to Kuwait Douglas Silliman is expected to partake in the event. (end) mao.gta
