Al-Ghanim condemns hotel attack in Egypt's N. Sinai

KUWAIT, Nov 24 (KUNA) -- Arab Inter-Parliamentary Union (AIPU) President and Kuwaiti National Assembly Speaker Marzouq Al-Ghanim on Tuesday sharply condemned today's hotel attack in Al-Arish City in Egypt's North Sinai, which killed and wounded several people.
"The terrorist bombing which took place today in the Egypt city of Al-Arish necessitates concerted regional and international efforts to fight black terrorism which is disguised in Islam," he said in a press statement.
Al-Ghanim voiced full solidarity with Egypt in its fight against terrorism and forces which try to disrupt its security and stability.
A judge, two police conscripts and three militants were killed in an attack that targeted a hotel in Al-Arish, provincial capital of North Sinai, Egypt, the Army said on Tuesday.
Twelve others, including military and police personnel and civilians, were wounded in the attack by a car bomb and an explosive belt, it said. (end) yms.mt
