Two Palestinians, two settlers killed in occupied territories

RAMALLAH, Oct 13 (KUNA) -- Two Palestinians and two Israeli settlers were killed and several others were injured in clashes and stabbing incidents in the occupied territories on Tuesday.
Israeli media network Haaretz reported that the two settlers were shot dead, while six others were wounded, in separate attacks in Jabal Mukaber in southeastern Jerusalem. One of the attackers was killed and another was wounded, according to Haaretz.
Meanwhile, Israel Radio said a Palestinian was killed and an Israeli was wounded in a stabbing attack in occupied Jerusalem. The occupation police shot and killed the attacker. Another Palestinian was injured with gunfire after stabbing four Israelis. Later he was arrested.
In North Gaza Strip, five Palestinians were injured; one of them in critical condition, near Beit Hanoun (Erez) crossing. Medical sources told Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) that the injured were rushed to Kamal Adwan Hospital.
Palestinian General Authority for Civilian Affairs Under Secretary Nasser El Sarraj said the Israeli authorities informed the authority about Tel Aviv's decision to close Beit Hanoun Crossing for Palestinians of special cases due to the escalation of confrontations between the Palestinian youth and occupation forces near the border areas.(end) nq.wab.ha
