Kuwait's Info. official praises close media ties with Egypt

CAIRO, Oct 13 (KUNA) -- Kuwait's Ministry of Information's Assistant Undersecretary for Radio Affairs Sheikh Fahad Al-Mubarak Abdullah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah on Tuesday praised the close ties between Kuwait and Egypt in various fields, specially media.
This came in Sheikh Fahad Al-Mubarak's statement to KUNA during Kuwait-Egypt Media Forum, which was held on Monday, titled (thank you Kuwait), held on the sidelines of Cairo Artworks and Media Mondial.
He also confirmed his belief in the importance of the role of art and art events that strengthen relations between peoples, noting that the Mondial resulted in a lot of discussions and dialogues by Egyptians and Arab producers, as well directors and scriptwriters on the implementation of joint work.
He also praised the organization of this forum thanking Egypt for the good reception and the Mondial which brought together a large number of media workers in Arab countries.
For his part, Head of the Arab Producers Union Ibrahim Abu Thekri stressed that this Mondial is an honor of the countries that supported Egypt during the circumstances that finally passed -- especially Kuwait.
Abu Thekri thanked His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, the Government of Kuwait and people for their support to the Egyptian people. He also praised the role of the Kuwaiti media and the high-level of Kuwait TV works and drama that achieved a great success.
Kuwait-Egypt forum was attended by a large number of Egyptian and Kuwaiti artists and those interested in artistic affairs. It also included a documentary film about the establishment of the TV in Kuwait and the broadcast television experience as well as a number of art works from both sides in addition to honoring a number of Kuwaiti and Egyptian media personnel.
