KUWAIT, Oct 10 (KUNA) -- His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah on Saturday sent a cable to UAE President Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al-Nahyan, expressing his condolences and sympathy over the Emirati serviceman who was martyred in Yemen.
The soldier was among the UAE troops in the Saudi-led coalition defending legitimacy in the country and was on a sacred national duty.
His Highness the Amir also extended condolences to the soldier's family.
His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah and His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Jaber Al-Mubarak Al-Hamad Al-Sabah sent similar cables to the UAE President. (end)
