WASHINGTON, Oct 10 (KUNA) -- Kuwait Embassy in Washington advised its nationals across the United States to avoid the anti-Muslim demonstrations as a precaution.
All Kuwaiti citizens and students have advisably to keep away from the sites of the planned rallies and follow the safety instructions set forth by local authorities, the Embassy said in a statement on Friday.
The Embassy and the Cultural Office are in contact with the National Union of Kuwait Students (NUKS-USA) to ensure the safety of all students and nationals, according to the statement received by KUNA here.
It asked the Kuwaitis in the US to dial the following phone numbers in case of emergency; 001 202 262 0758, 001 202 320 2415, Or 001 202 364 2104.
