GAZA, Oct 9 (KUNA) -- At least six Palestinians have been killed so far and about 80 others wounded by Israeli forces gunfire during anti-Israeli policy rallies in east of Gaza, medical sources in the Gaza Strip said Friday.
The Israeli troops intentionally hit Palestinians at their heads and upper parts, Dr. Ashraf Al-Qudra, press spokesman for Health Ministry in the Strip, said in a statement, adding ten of the injured have critical conditions.
He called on the International Committee of the Red Cross, World Health Organziation and all international humanitarian and legal agencies to expose the crimes committed by the Israeli occupation forces against the Palestinian people.
Medical squads at hospitals in the Strip are on high alert to deal immediately with the situation, he said.
The anti-Israeli policy rallies were organized by a group of young Palestinians near Nahel Ouz settlement, expressing their rejection over recent Israeli actions in Jerusalem and the West Bank, in addition to violations of Islamic sanctities. (Pick up previous)
