Kuwaiti-Pakistani military cmte concludes 1st meeting

KUWAIT, Oct 7 (KUNA) -- The Kuwaiti-Pakistani Military Committee concluded its first meeting here Wednesday after discussing a plethora of key issues related to military cooperation between the two friendly countries.
In a press statement, the Kuwaiti Defense Ministry said that the meeting was co-chaired by Kuwaiti Army Assistant Chief of Staff for Operations and Planning Major General Ahmad Al-Ameeri and Chief of Pakistani Army's Directorate General of Foreign Military Cooperation Major General Mokhtar Ahmad.
An agreement on forming a joint cooperation committee was signed during the meeting, added the statement, noting that the conferees have also tackled several issues of common interest.
They also discussed furtherance of military cooperation, especially in the training domain. (end) amn.msa.ibi
