Families of kidnapped Lebanese soldiers cutoff main roads

BEIRUT, Oct 4 (KUNA) -- Families of abducted Lebanese soldiers by armed groups on the eastern borders with Syria have blocked the highway road leading to Rafic Hariri International Airport in all directions in Beirut on Sunday.
According to Lebanon's National News Agency, the families also cutoff another main road in the capital a few hours ago, in a protest accusing the government of neglecting the crisis of the soldiers who were abducted by ISIL and Al-Nusra Front over a year ago.
Meanwhile, the families' spokesperson said that the government is not in contact with the terrorist group to release the 25 hostages and does not provide the families with any information on the case.
The two terrorist groups attacked military centers in Arsal north eastern Lebanon in August 2014, kidnapping dozens of soldiers in clashes that left casualties on both sides.(end) wsm.ag
