KUWAIT, Oct 2 (KUNA) -- A Tanzanian national was arrested for forging Kuwaiti passports, civil IDs, and a number of documents linked to state and banking bodies, the interior ministry announced Friday.
The arrested, born in 1963, was captured with four different forged passports in his procession, Major-General Abdulhamid AlآAwadhi, MOI's Assistant Undersecretary for Criminal Security Affairs, said in a press statement.
One of the ministry's secret sources indicated that the captured has also faked personal IDs associated with the Central System for the Remedy of Status of Illegal Residents (CSRSIR), as well as driver licenses, Al-Awadhi noted.
He also faked a number of birth certificates and IDs and various official documents for wanted people in return for large sums of money that are up to KD 4,000, he added. (end) amn.tab.ma
