First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah with the UN Secretary General's Special Envoy for Yemen Ismail Ould Cheikh Ahmed
NEW YORK, Oct 2 (KUNA) -- First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah met here late Thursday with the UN Secretary General's Special Envoy for Yemen Ismail Ould Cheikh Ahmed on the sideline of the 70th UN General Assembly meeting.
The meeting touched on the latest situation in Yemen and means to bring peace and security in Yemen.
Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled expressed Kuwait's keenness on measures to end violence in Yemen.
The meeting was attended by a number of Kuwaiti diplomats and representatives both at the Foreign Ministry and at the UN headquarters. (end)
