NEW YORK, Oct 2 (KUNA) -- First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah met here late Thursday with Special Representative of the Secretary-General and Head of the United Nations Support Mission in Libya (UNSMIL) Bernardino Leon on the sideline of the 70th UN General Assembly.
The meeting touched on the latest situation in Libya and means to bring peace and security in Libya.
Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled expressed Kuwait's keenness on measures to end violence in Libya.
The meeting was attended by a number of Kuwaiti diplomats and representatives both at the Foreign Ministry and at the UN headquarters. (end)
