ROME, Sept 21 (KUNA) -- The "Art of the Islamic Civilization" exhibition, organized by Kuwait's Dar Al-Athar Al-Islamiyah (DAI), is one of the most important international exhibitions that the Italian capital ever hosted, showcasing historic pieces and manuscripts from the old cultural heritage of the Islamic civilization, which dates back to over 1,000 years.
Throughout its two-months run at the Scuderie del Quirinale museum in Rome, the Islamic art exhibition displayed assorted artifacts that highlighted artistic, scientific, and aesthetic aspects of the Islamic civilization under the framework of a successful Kuwaiti initiative to extend bridges of cultural communication.
