Arab League Secretary General Nabil Al-Arabi and Arab Parliament Speaker Ahmed Al-Jarwan during signed a memorandum of cooperation to establish an official partnership between the two bodies
CAIRO, Sept 10 (KUNA) -- Arab League Secretary General Nabil Al-Arabi and Arab Parliament Speaker Ahmed Al-Jarwan signed Thursday a memorandum of cooperation to establish an official partnership between the two bodies.
The memorandum aims to strengthen cooperative and consulting relations between General Secretariat of the Arab League and the Arab Parliament since they are the backbone of legislation of the joint Arab work.
Al-Jarwan stressed in press statement, that the Arab Parliament strongly supports the Arab League's decisions especially the ones related to countering terrorism in the Arab region and issues related to internals problems facing the Arab world mainly in Syria and Palestine.
The memorandum will be a future legal reference for the partnership between the two bodies. (end).
