Croatia, Slovenia ready to receive refugees after Hungary's refusal

SARAJEVO, Sept 4 (KUNA) -- Croatia and Slovenia expressed their readiness to receive the continuous flow of refugees to Europe after Hungary expressed its refusal to do so.
In a statement to by the Croatian Interior Ministry to radio, Croatia said that it will allow refugees to enter the country despite its humble capabilities.
Croatia took the decision after the Hungarian government refused to take action to host the refugees.
Similar to Croatia, Slovenia affirmed that it will establish centers in the country to receive the refugees, said a government-owned television station.
In a controversial statement, Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban told the press outside of the EU headquarters in Brussels that "I think we have a right to decide that we do not want a large number of Muslim people in our country." (end) ah.gta
