Five people killed in three explosions in Baghdad

BAGHDAD, Sept 3 (KUNA) -- Five people were killed on Thursday as three bombs exploded in various parts of the Iraqi capital, Bagdad.
A source in the Iraqi police told KUNA today that the strongest blast took place in a public market in Tarmeyah area north of Baghdad, and resulted in the killing of three people and injury of seven others.
Meanwhile, one person was killed while six others were injured in a blast in a residential neighborhood in Al-Zafaraniyah area southern Baghdad, while another person was killed and three others were injured in a blast in Al-Ne'erya area southern Baghdad.(end) ahh.lb
