Iran's nuclear deal's mutual implementation end Oct. - AEOI spokesman

TEHRAN, Aug 31 (KUNA) -- An Atomic Energy Organization of Iran (AEOI) official said Monday mutual implementation of the nuclear agreement - Tehran's compliance with the deal and West's lifting of sanctions - would begin by end of October.
"It will be in Iran hands to lift the embargo through the implementation of its obligations, while the other party (P5+1) will honor its obligations and they will not be able to change this date," Behrouz Kamalvandi, AEOI spokesman, said in a statement to the Radio and TV authority.
"This will eventually take a long time but we have to implement our measures and the other party lift the embargo," he added.
UN Security Council (UNSC) approved resolution 2231 last month, which ratified the nuclear agreement between Iran and the P5+1 group - the US, Britain, France, Russia and China plus Germany - that was signed on July 14.
The agreement will cut the number of centrifuges by two-thirds for 10 years, monitoring all nuclear facilities while placing a ban on conventional weapons for five years, in return of lifting economic sanctions as of early 2016.
Kamalvandi meanwhile said China was ready to help Iran build small and big nuclear stations. (end) mw.bs
