Sheikh Mohammad hosts banquet for British FM

KUWAIT, Aug 25 (KUNA) -- Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs and Acting Foreign Minister Sheikh Mohammad Abdullah Al-Mubarak Al-Sabah held Monday evening a dinner banquet in honor of British Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs Philip Hammond.
This was an occasion for Sheikh Mohammad and Hammond, who leads a delegation on a visit to Kuwait, to discuss the close ties and cooperation between their two friendly countries in various fields as well as several regional and international issues of common concern.
The banquet was attended by Undersecretary of the Foreign Ministry Khaled Suleiman Al-Jarallah and Acting Chief of Staff of the First Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister's Office Saleh Salem Al-Loghani as well as a number of senior diplomats. (end) mm.gb
