Kuwait's Interior Minister arrives in US starting official visit

WASHINGTON, Aug 23 (KUNA) -- Kuwait's Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sheikh Mohammad Al-Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, accompanied by a delegation of senior officials, arrived in the US capital late on Friday on an official visit due to last for several days.
The minister was received upon arrival by the State of Kuwait's Ambassador to the US, Sheikh Salem Abdullah Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, heads of Kuwaiti offices in Washington and Kuwait Embassy staff.
Minister Sheikh Mohammad Al-Khaled's delegation includes the MoI's Assistant Undersecretary for Criminal Security Affairs Major General Abdulhamid Al-Awadhi, the Assistant Undersecretary for State Security Maj. Gen. Issam Salem Al-Nahham, the General Director of the General Directorate of General Investigation Maj. Gen. Fahad Ibrahim Al-Dosari and a number of other Ministry officials. (end) yt.rk
