Yemeni VP, Abu Dhabi CP discuss regional events

ABU DHABI, Aug 3 (KUNA) -- Yemeni Vice President and Prime Minister Khaled Bahah discussed latest regional developments with Abu Dhabi Crown Prince and Deputy Supreme Commander of UAE Armed Forces Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al-Nahyan on Monday.
A press statement carried by Emirates News Agency (WAM), said that discussions sought to bolster friendly, bilateral relations, as well as addressing issues of mutual interest.
Moreover, the statement reaffirmed UAE's unwavering support of the Yemeni people until all efforts at restoring peace and security in the war-torn nation are realized.
Al-Nahyan said that cooperation and solidarity between Arab nations will usher in a new phase of stability and development in the region.
The Abu Dhabi Crown Prince lauded the UAE's Armed Forces and, "the contributions of the people of UAE to Arab causes." Both sides also discussed the latest developments in Yemen, as well as the ongoing relief operations to provide those affected by the conflict with much needed protection. (end) asa.nam
