Oman's oil output rises -- NCSI

MUSCAT, Aug 3 (KUNA) -- Oman's oil output in first half of 2015 rose 2.9 percent reaching approximately 175 million barrels compared to 170 million barrels in H1 2014, according to the National Center for Statistics and Information (NCSI).
Highest average crude output was in June, estimated 992,700 barrels, while highest production reached some 30 million barrels in March, with an average daily output estimated at 976,006 barrels, the center said in a freshly-released report.
Total crude output in 2014 amounted to some 344 million, including some 312 million crude oil, 833,000 barrels of condensates, with an average daily crude output at 943,005 barrels.
The NCSI said in its report that 393 million barrels were added to the general reserves last year, in contrast to 517 million in 2013. The reserves reached 5.3 million barrels in end of the past year, while the gas reserves were estimated at 24.3 million cubic feet. (end) ahr.rk
