Russian troops kill 8 ISIL militants N. Caucasus

MOSCOW, Aug 2 (KUNA) -- Russian forces have killed at least eight militants, who had recently sworn allegiance to the Islamic State in Iraq and the Levant (ISIL), in the North Caucasus region, according to local media on Sunday.
Russian security forces targeted the militants in the province of Ingushetia, located west of Chechnya, Russian TV reported, citing some security sources.
According to the sources, the militants were accused of launching a series of attacks against police forces.
