Saudi nationals die in private jet crash in Britain

LONDON, Aug 1 (KUNA) -- The private jet which crashed near Blackbushe Airport, south of Britain on Friday, was Saudi, the Saudi embassy in London confirmed on Saturday.
Members of the Mohammad bin Laden were killed in the accident, ambassador Prince Mohammed bin Nawaf Al Saud said in a statement.
He added that the embassy followed up the incident with the British authorities, and is seeking rapid delivery of the dead bodies to be buried at home.
The British authorities on Friday said that the private Phenom 300 crashed during an attempt to land at Blackbushe Airport in Hampshire. The pilot and all three passengers on board were killed, but no-one on the ground was injured.
The jet was completely burnt with a number of parking cars in an open area at the end of the runway.
The British Police said it opened a joint investigation in the incident with the Civil Aviation Authority. (end) mrn.rj.msa
