UK, Egypt, Palestine condemn death of toddler in "horrific Israeli attack"

KUWAIT, July 31 (KUNA) -- The British government strongly condemned the "brutal terrorist attack" that led to the death of an 18-month-old Palestinian child killed in the village of Duma, south of Nablus in Palestine.
British Secretary of State for Middle East Affairs Sir Tobias Ellwood said in a press statement, on Friday, that the UK rejects this "horrific attack" which was also condemned by the Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
Ellwood called on the Israeli government to bring the offenders to justice. He also stressed the importance that all Israeli and Palestinian parties should practice self-restraint.
Meanwhile, in a similar tone, Egypt also condemned this arson attack that killed the toddler and wounded his parents and his brother when their house was set on fire by Israeli extremists.
Egyptian Foreign Ministry Spokesman Bader Abdelatti offered his condolences to the family of the child and wished speedy recovery for his parents and his brother.
He called on the Israeli government to take full responsibility for the attack.
In addition, Palestinian Prime Minister Rami Hamdallah expressed similar sentiments during the burial ceremony of the toddler Ali Saad Daobasa Friday afternoon.
