France stands with Bahrain against terrorism -- Senator Jean-Marie

KUWAIT, July 29 (KUNA) -- French Senator Jean-Marie Bockel said Wednesday that France stands with the Kingdom of Bahrain against terrorism, in the wake of the recent Sitra blast that killed two security personnel and wounded three others.
According to Bahrain News Agency (BNA), the Foreign Affairs, Defense and Armed Forces Committee member and Head of the Senate Delegation on Local and Regional Authorities and Decentralization affirmed France's unwavering position in combating terrorism during a meeting with the kingdom's foreign affairs and defense delegation.
MP and representative of legislative authority, Sawsan Taqwa welcomed the visit by the French Senator, hailing cordial ties between the two countries and re-affirming their joint commitment in pursuing a number of issues of mutual concern. (end) tm.nam
