OIC condemns Bahrain terrorist attack

JEDDAH, July 29 (KUNA) -- The Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), condemned on Wednesday the recent terrorist attack in Sitra village in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
Secretary-General of the OIC, Iyad Amin Madani, in a statement, expressed solidarity with the people of Bahrain, rejecting any interference in the Kingdom's internal affairs and stressing support for the sovereignty and stability of the country.
Madani also conveyed his condolences to the families of the victims and wished a swift recovery for those wounded in the attack.
Moreover, the Secretary-General re-affirmed the OIC's unwavering position in condemning terrorism in all of its manifestations and its continued commitment in combating the phenomenon.
The attack claimed the lives of two security personnel and three others were critically wounded. (end) nh.nam
