KISR finishes nano-battery prototype for medical usage
KUWAIT, July 28 (KUNA) -- Kuwait Institute for Scientific Research (KISR) finished Tuesday a prototype for a nano-battery that is being developed for medical usage.
A statement by KISR said that the project took two years to complete, adding that the institute collaborated with Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) on the nano-battery.
The prototype will be subjected to experiments and trials before approving the final product, said KISR, noting that the nano-battery would help provide sufficient energy for medical tools and small robots used in cancer cell treatment. (end) mf.gta
