Saudi FM, UN envoy to Yemen discuss humanitarian aid

RIYADH, July 27 (KUNA) -- Saudi Foreign Minister Adel Al Jubeir met Monday with United Nations' special Envoy to Yemen, Ismail Ould Cheikh Ahmad Monday to discuss humanitarian aid delivery to the country.
According to Saudi News Agency, the discussions covered the latest developments in Yemen, including the arrival of humanitarian assistance into the war-torn country, through the city of Aden.
The UN envoy, on a visit to Saudi Arabia, held previous discussions with Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council, Abdullatif Al Zayani.
The discussions underscored the importance of adhering to the Saudi-led coalition's humanitarian ceasefire in Yemen, at the behest of president Abd Rabbuh Mansur Hadi, in order for the people of Yemen to receive crucial humanitarian aid. (end) od.nam
