Kuwait promotes its "media perspective" in Morocco

KUWAIT, July 25 (KUNA) -- Kuwait's Ministry of Information is planning to hold a media seminar, on Monday, in Morocco, on sidelines of Asilah Cultural Festival 2015, a ministry official announced.
The seminar, themed "Arab media in digital information world," will be patronized by Information Minister and State Minister for Youth Affairs Sheikh Salman Sabah Al-Salem Al-Humoud Al-Sabah, in coordination with the Moroccan festival management, said Faisal Al-Mutallaqem, the information assistant undersecretary, in remarks to KUNA.
It aims at promoting Kuwait's "media perspective toward various issues in the sector," he said, noting that the minister personally supports such an interactive activity for upgrading Arab electronic media and boosting its role at intellectual and cultural levels.
Current status of the Arab media in the global digital information will be addressed by participating elite academics, researches and media personalities. (end) mdm.tb.rk
