Albanian Parliament Speaker hails Kuwait's press freedom

TIRANA, July 20 (KUNA) -- The Speaker of the Parliament of Albania, Ilir Meta on Monday praised Kuwait's freedom of press.
Albanian Parliament Speaker met with Board Chairman and Director General of Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) Sheikh Mubarak Al-Duaij Al-Ibrahim Al-Sabah and discussed relations between two countries, particularly in media field, adding that Foreign Policy Advisor Ralf Gjoni was present in the meeting.
Albanian Parliament Speaker hailed the steadily development of relations in two countries.
Sheikh Mubarak Al-Duaij stressed the importance of cooperation between KUNA and Albanians news agency to offer up-to-date and credible news coverage.
He also hailed the role of Kuwait's Ambassador to Albania Najib Al-Bader in enhancing relations with Albania.
The meeting was attended by KUNA Chairman of Marketing and Public Relations Essam Al-Ruwayeh.
Sheikh Mubarak Al-Duaij has started official visit to Albania upon an invitation from director general of Albanian news agency. (end) mmg.hs
