KUWAIT, July 5 (KUNA) -- Eid Al- Fitr, marking end of the Muslim fasting month of Ramadan, will fall on July 17, announced the astronomer Adel Al-Saadoun on Sunday.
The moon is forecast to line up with the sun at 04.24 a.m. Thursday, July 16, after completing its monthly circle around the Earth.
On Thursday night, the moon disappears in the Kuwaiti skies five minutes after sundown. Its age since moment of link-up will be 14.26 hours. The moon will not be spotted in all Arab countries including Mauritania. (end) mf.rk
