ISIL executes 25 Syrian regime soldiers in Palmyra

AMMAN, July 5 (KUNA) -- Islamic State of Iraq and Levant's (ISIL) militants have executed 25 forces of Syrian regime forces and their allies in the Roman Theatre in the ancient city of Palmyra, central Syria, a monitoring group said Saturday.
A videotape shows young ISIL militants executing 25 soldiers in the Roman Theater in Palmyra by shooting them, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR) said in a statement.
The videotape also showed ISIL militants executing and beheading a soldier in the regime in the central prison of Palmyra, then planting the prison with explosives and exploded it into parts, it added.
Meanwhile, a coalition drone targeted ISIL vehicle in the school of Hamida in Raqqa city, killing five civilians, including a child, and wounding others, in addition to killing one ISIL militant, said SOHR. (end) tk.tma.ma
