Tunisia Pres. declares state of emergency

TUNIS, July 4 (KUNA) -- Tunisian President Beji Caid Essebsi issued a decree declaring a state of emergency in the country on Saturday one week after the deadly terrorist attack on a hotel in Sousse. He will address the nation at 5 p.m. today through the state TV, Tunisia Africa Press agency (TAP) reported.
The terrorist attack claimed 38 lives, including 30 British tourists, and wounded 39 others. (end) nm.gb
