KUWAIT, July 4 (KUNA) -- His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah has cabled US President Barack Obama expressing congratulations on the 139th anniversary of the United States' Independence Proclamation.
His Highness the Amir praised the historic ties bonding the two friendly countries and their mutual aspiration to bolster the cooperation for service of joint interests. He also wished the US president life-long well-being and hoped the good bilateral relations would be further enhanced.
Cables of identical content were addressed to President Obama by Their Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah and Prime Minister Sheikh Jaber Al-Mubarak Al-Hamad Al-Sabah. (end)
