Kuwait parl't chief condemns Sinai deadly attacks

KUWAIT, July 2 (KUNA) -- Arab Inter-Parliamentary Union chief and Kuwait's National Assembly Speaker Marzouq Al-Ghanim late on Wednesday condemned several terrorist attacks that killed and maimed dozens of Egyptian soldiers in the Sinai Peninsula.
"These attacks, which targeted the security and stability of Egypt, are utterly rejected and deplored," he said, expressing solidarity with the country in its fight on terror after the attacks claimed by ISIL's Sinai-based wing, formerly known as Ansar Bait Al-Maqdis.
Al-Ghanim went on to express his condolences to the families and loved ones of those killed in the attacks and to the Egyptian people, whilst wishing those injured a swift recovery. (end) aas.sd
