Tanzanian pres. offers condolence to His Highness Amir on mosque blast victims

KUWAIT, July 1 (KUNA) -- His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah received Wednesday a cable of condolences from Tanzanian President Jakaya Kikwete on the victims of the blast that hit Imam Al-Sadiq Mosque in Kuwaiti City during Friday prayers last week.
In his condolence cable, the Tanzanian president condemned in the strongest words the terrorist act that targeted an ancient Shia mosque in Kuwait during the Friday prayers.
He expressed his country's support for Kuwait in the face of such a terrorist act, wishing those injured speedy recovery.
In a reply cable, His Highness the Amir expressed his appreciations to the Tanzanian leader for these good feelings, wishing him good health. (end) mt
