Kuwait crude price down 65 cents to USD 57.15 pb

KUWAIT, June 30 (KUNA) -- Kuwait's crude oil price on Monday declined by 65 cents to settle at USD 57.15 per barrel compared to USD 57.80 pb last Friday, Kuwait Petroleum Corporation (KPC) said on Tuesday.
On the international markets, prices of the crude future deliveries dropped more than two percent,on Monday as Greece shut its banks and imposed capital controls creating more complications over the demand on oil. The price drop came also amid Iran's to extend its nuclear talks negotiations with the West to export more of its oil into an oversupplied market.
Price of the future deals of the Brent crudes fell USD 1.25 , 1.98 percent, to settle at USD 62.01 pb. The American light crude (West Texas Intermediate (WTI)), price also dropped 1.30 cents, 2.18 percent, settling at USD 58.33 pb.(end) asj.ha
