Bahrain says Kuwait capable of addressing mosque attack aftermath

MANAMA, June 29 (KUNA) -- Bahrain's government Monday affirmed Kuwait's ability to contain aftermath of the terrorist attack against Imam Al-Sadiq mosque last Friday, to ultimately realize security and stability.
"This terrorist act and those behind it have nothing to do with Islam because of the violation of the sacredness of faith and lacking of humanity ... due to their alien deviated and extremist ideologies ...," the government said in a statement following its weekly meeting.
It strongly condemned the terrorist attack that claimed lives of 26 martyrs and injured 227 others, extending condolences to the Kuwaiti leadership, government, people and families of the victims. It also wished speedy recovery for the injured.
It affirmed that security of Kuwait and Bahrain was integrated.
The government of Bahrain also condemned an attack against the UAE Ambassador to Somalia, as well as the terrorist attack against a hotel in the Tunisian city of Sousse, and the attack against a gas factory in the French city of Lyon. (end) mge.bs
