His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah has instructed rapid renovation of Imam Al-Sadiq mosque, which has been damaged by a terrorist attack last Friday, a government official said Monday.
His Highness the Amir has underlined importance of rapidly renovating the mosque as soon as possible to be ready for daily prayers, Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs Sheikh Mohammad Abdullah Al-Mubarak Al-Sabah said in a statement.
The terrorist attack killed 27 people and injured 227 others while Muslim worshippers were performing Friday noon prayers. (end) bs
