KUWAIT, June 23 (KUNA) -- Chairman of the Kuwait Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI) Ali Al-Ghanim and Mexican Ambassador to Kuwait Miguel Angel Isidro discussed means of promoting economic relations and joint investment opportunities.
In a press statement on Tuesday, Al-Ghanim stressed that the Kuwaiti private sector has a plentiful financial liquidity that could be used in establishing joint investment projects, pointing to investment and commercial opportunities of Mexico in different fields.
Al-Ghanim noted that the economic relations between the two countries are below expectations, affirming the KCCI's readiness to harness its potentials so as to provide the Mexican Embassy with data on commercial and investment opportunities, it added.
During the meeting, the statement quoted Isidro that Mexico is currently making economic, political and legal changes for more diverse investment opportunities.
Isidro unveiled that the Mexican minister of commerce intends to visit Kuwait next October to show investment opportunities there. (end) mfs.fsh.hm
