KUNA chairman inspects agency's Doha office

DOHA, June 9 (KUNA) -- KUNA Board Chairman and Director General Sheikh Mubarak Al-Duaij Al-Ibrahim Al-Sabah called for making best use of the latest technology to enrich the bulletin and bolster the agency's role on the regional and international scenes.
Sheikh Mubarak made the call on Tuesday during a visit to KUNA office in Doha, where he had a first-hand experience on how work is being managed there, covering events in Qatar and transferring news and reports to the main office in Kuwait.
He appreciated the office efforts in covering events in which Kuwaiti delegations take part. He also emphasized the importance of abiding by the KUNA professional criteria, objectivity and credibility.
Sheikh Mubarak was accompanied by head of KUNA Chairman's office Naif Al-Otaibi and Public Relations and Marketing Director Essam Al-Ruwayeh.
The KUNA Chairman is on a visit to Qatar to attend the third GCC media forum. (end) nnd.msa
