KUWAIT, May 28 (KUNA) -- His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah on Thursday congratulated His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah on the successful 42nd Meeting of Council of Foreign Ministers of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) which Kuwait hosted on 27-28 May.
His Highness the Crown Prince wished the OIC ministerial council, now chaired by Kuwait, would fulfill its responsibilities toward the Muslim nation, countering the grave challenges facing it, as well as correcting the distorted image of Islam.
In addition, His Highness the Crown Prince congratulated His Highness the Amir on the OIC honoring, for the title of "Humanitarian Leader" granted to him by the UN which also named Kuwait a "Humanitarian Center." His Highness the Amir thanked His Highness the Crown Prince in a cable that also emphasized the fruitful outcome and constructive resolutions of the OIC event, that are most likely to enhance joint Islamic work and consolidate solidarity among the Muslim states as well as serving their just causes.
