ALGIERS, May 26 (KUNA) -- Algerian Prime Minister Abdulmalek Sellal inaugurated on Tuesday the 48th International Fair of Algiers (FIA) with participation of 30 countries, including representatives from the State of Kuwait.
Kuwait Ministry of Commerce and Industry's Representative Mohammad Al-Khaldi, who is also in charge of Kuwait's pavilion in the fair, said that this is the fifth consecutive participation from Kuwait in this fair.
Al-Khaldi told KUNA that his country is keen to partake in such exhibitions which aim at improving awareness and knowledge on Kuwait's products in Algeria.
Regarding Kuwait's participating in this fair, Al-Khaldi said that firms specialized in production of aluminum, textiles, food, paper, and cleaners industries were showing their products.
He stressed on the country's keenness to participate in the fair to bolster trade cooperation between Algeria and Kuwait.
Al-Khaldi also pointed out to the importance of activating agreements and the increasing knowledge on Kuwait's product for Algerian businessmen.
Nizar Ahmad Al-Baghli of Kuwait's Embassy in Algeria visited the pavilion and asserted importance of these international gatherings that helped Kuwait market locally-made products, activate trade and economic relations. (end) ft.mb
