USD traded at KD 0.302

KUWAIT, May 26 (KUNA) -- USD rate vis a vis the Kuwaiti dinar stood at KD 0.302 while the euro dropped to KD 0.331 on Tuesday, as compared to Monday's trades, the Central Bank of Kuwait said.
Sterling pound dropped to KD 0.467, likewise Swiss franc which fell to KD 0.319, however the Japanese yen firmed trading at KD 0.002.
The greenback rose against other hard currencies on the international markets after Washington announced plans to raise the interest rate later this year and that it would be hiked in the future, on small scale and in stages in the next years.
Meanwhile, the euro has posted record fall since four weeks ago due a deadlock in talks between Greece and its creditors on bailout terms. (end) ht.hb.rk
