KUWAIT, May 25 (KUNA) -- Kuwaiti jet ski racer Yousef Al-Abdulrazzaq came second in the Aquabike World Championships' Runabout Grand Prix at the southeastern historical coastal town of Castro.
He told KUNA, by phone, that he was honoured to have witnessed his nation's flag at the podium in the midst of such great global talents in the sport.
The championship, which kicked off earlier in March at Doha, will continue on to its next stop in Portugal in August followed by China and the United Arab Emirates each after a two-month gap, he said.
He also hailed the role of the private sector in his success, applauding local telecommunications company, Zain, for their sponsorship of his participation. (end) ayr.sd
