CAIRO, May 23 (KUNA) -- President of the Arab Parliament Ahmad Al-Jarawan condemned strongly on Saturday the "terrorist" attack on Imam Ali Mosque in AlآQedaih village in Saudi Arabia's eastern AlآQatif governorate that killed and injured scores of people on Friday.
He said in a statement that the wisdom of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud will prevent sedition in the kingdom.
"Terrorist groups will fail to tamper with the Saudi national fabric," he said, voicing his confidence that security authorities will bring perpetrators to justice.
He warned that any acts that harm Saudi Arabia affect negatively Arab national security.
A suicide bomber blew up an explosive-laden belt inside the mosque during the Friday prayers, killing and wounding dozens of worshippers.
