KUWAIT, May 22 (KUNA) -- His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah received a phone call on Friday from Iraqi President Fuad Masum, expressing condolences to family of former National Assembly speaker Jassem Al-Kharafi who passed away on Thursday at the age of 75 and was buried today.
During the phone call, the Iraqi leader praised Al-Kharafi public service and achievements to his country, extending his condolences to Al-Kharafi family.
In turn, His Highness the Amir thanked the Iraqi leader for his warm and kind gesture. (end)
