His Highness Amir condemns "heinous terrorist act" on Saudi mosque

KUWAIT, May 22 (KUNA) -- His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah strongly condemned the "heinous terrorist act" against innocent civilians performing Friday prayers in Saudi Arabia's eastern governorate of Al-Qatif.
His Highness the Amir, in a cable of condolences to Saudi King Salman bin Abdulaziz, said the attack aimed at inciting sedition among citizens and was in complete contravention of Islamic Sharia principles.
Kuwait, affirmed His Highness the Amir, reiterated rejection to all forms of terrorism and voiced support to the international community's efforts to eliminate it.
His Highness Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad extended condolences for families of the victims, wishing speedy recovery for the injured.
His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah sent a cable of condolences to King Salman, extending condolences for the victims of the deadly attack against the mosque in Al-Qediah town in Al-Qatif, which killed 21 people and injured 102 others.
His Highness the Crown Prince wished speedy recovery for the injured.
His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Jaber Mubarak Al-Hamad Al-Sabah sent a similar cable. (end) bs
