KUWAIT, May 22 (KUNA) -- The third edition of the "1,000 Projects" youth exhibition will be opened on Tuesday, said Secretary General of Kuwait's Manpower and Government Restructuring Program (MGRP) Fawzi Al-Majdali.
The exhibition is sponsored by His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah.
Al-Majdali referred to the "unprecedented" success of the 2013 and 2014 editions.
The exhibition aims at supporting young people and urging them into the field of small and medium size enterprises (SMEs), to have their own private business, as part of the national goals the MGRP is working hard to achieve, Al-Majdali said in a press statement on Friday.
He underscored the paramount importance of SMEs for economic development and creating new jobs.
The "1,000 Projects" seeks to reinforce the culture of private business, encouraging young and veteran entrepreneurs to offer their projects and ideas to people. (end) akw.tab.msa
